~~ The Utter Terrain ~~

24^th June ago was my birthday,, Actually I was hoping for a few particular people to wish me,, so, I didn’t write about this supposedly big day for me in this blog, don’t want them to be reminded because of this entry. However, dah lame dah.. so, I’m gonna write anyway, suddenly rase immature to wait for someone to wish me,, dhuhhh! I forgot people’s birthday all the time, so it’s no big deal. So to the people that wish me excitedly, thank you for making me feel like 12 years younger.. don’t know y, but shrieking and giggling reminds me of  young, cute ewoks. Hehe

On that very day, it was Saturday, and I was at my home sweet home in perak,, celebrating with family, almost every one was there. As far as I can remember, my birthday never fall on school break before, it was whether I’m at the hostel, camping trip, college, BTN, shah alam. Hm, so I always had whether an advance birthday cake or belated cake. It is my dream to celebrate with every members of the family around me on that very day, 24^th june,, I thot this kinda event would still has the chance to happen next year or the next or the next year. Then, I realize it would never happen. It hit me, my father will not be around this june, next june or next 10 years. So, that dream will just be a dream.. and you wonder why I give so damn much about a stupid birthday. Because the last 23 birthdays, I had to listen to my dad’s out of tune 30 seconds of fame—the arabic clash Michael Buble version of happy birthday on that particular morning. If I was at home with him, I even got to see his belly dancing in pelikat and pagoda singlet, even worse when he did it in front of my friends. Mase kecik2 it was a torture to have to listen for that birthday verse (nightmares to my friends.. and appendicitis to paul moss ). As I grew older, it won’t be a birthday if I don’t hear it. I miss the song, and I miss him.

Anyway, got 4 cakes for the whole family,, and mubin gave me  cute drawing of isagi shuuhei..hearthrob from bleach,, I was touched beyond words,.(Thanks you for all the presents, you all.. I cant list them down,, nanti kecik hati kalau ade tertinggal.) it was a beautiful day where everyone ate and laughed, and ate and smiled, and told scary stories of how torturing the operation to have your wisdom tooth removed, just to scare the crap out of kak udi..( she was going thru it the next week). Siap ade demonstration and gambarajah.

Despite the ups and downs and a bit of dramas that I’m sure every family has, I’m grateful for this. If I get to choose my family (remember that wife swap reality show), I will absolutely still go for this one. I smile when I see the rice pot isn’t empty even when there are 10 of us. Why? Because everybody is saving half their portion of rice to everybody else who she thinks mite be hungrier then she is,… or a sister that hasn’t eaten yet, or need to eat more. So it goes on in circle,, and obviously that’s y the rice never finish. Still, it is pembaziran yang tak baik, but in this very cute way. Also, the reason my cat is that big. Mix all the love, sisterhood, the promise, the joy, the pranks, tantrum, screaming and yelling.. we ARE family. A connection my father emphasized since we first memorize his face. Nothing is more important than each other.

Awin,, still didn’t get your appolo layer cake, topped with a slice of cheesedale cheese that u wanna give me by hand ( he said it almost fit the description of –hand-made-cheese-cake . Some frend I have ha..)
